Client Success Manager

Own the post-launch relationship with a portfolio of Vela clients. You will drive retention, identify upsell opportunities, manage QBRs, and ensure clients are extracting maximum value from their Vela partnership.

About the role

You will manage a portfolio of 8–12 clients at various stages of their Vela relationship. Your job is to make sure they stay, grow, and refer others. That means understanding their business deeply, running quarterly business reviews, identifying new opportunities before the client thinks to ask, and acting as their internal advocate when anything goes wrong. You will work closely with our growth, engineering, and strategy teams to make sure client requests are delivered on time and to the right standard.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years in client success, account management, or agency project management
  • Background in digital agencies, SaaS, or eCommerce — you understand the domain
  • Proven track record of maintaining and growing retainer accounts
  • Organised and proactive — you spot problems before clients do
  • Confident running QBRs and presenting performance data to senior stakeholders
  • Experience working with NRR or GRR targets

Nice to have

  • +Knowledge of eCommerce metrics — GMV, CVR, AOV, LTV
  • +Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM for account tracking
  • +Second European language (German, French, or Spanish a bonus)
